The main conclusions obtained from this study are as follows: (1) The water contents of the dewatered soil samples became almost 70 ― 80 % of the liquid limit. This means that MORIS-2 has excellent dewatering ability. (2) The quality of the squeezed water was evaluated by SS. The effect of the operation time on SS was prominent. The SS of the treated water was remarkably low companing with the Japanese standard. (3) The effect of flocculation agents was clear in the improvement of SS of the treated water. However, it has almost no significant effect on the water contents of the dewatered samples.
