摘要

Thermodynamic data is very useful in desgining, modifying and operating metallurgical processes. However, one must always be cognizant of the quality and reliability of the data, particularly when extrapolating data outside the conditions under which it was developed. This paper studies the reactions in three basic systems, and identifies some novel industrial application possibilities predicted on available and extrapolated thermodynamic data.
