Existing state of the EHV substation equipment life timernin Russia is characterized. Problems of aged equipmentrnreplacement and substation modernization arernconsidered. Influence of different factors on equipmentrnlife time optimization is analyzed. Decision – makingrnalgorithm and corresponding diagram on the substationrnreconstruction and re-equipment are presented. Re-equipmentrnconcept is considered as well.
