In this paper divisible load schedulingrntheory is used to examine monetary cost and energyrnuse optimization in a single level tree network. Thernproblem is to find an optimal sequence for the distri-rnbution of the load to each processor that will mini-rnmize the monetary cost or energy consumption of thernnetwork. Optimization results from four different al-rngorithms and their associated computation times arernpresented. Monetary cost sensitivity analysis resultsrnare also provided.
