摘要

We propose a multi-carrier basedrnmultiple-access scheme for ultra-wideband (UWB)rncommunications that is capable of deterministic re-rnmoval of multiuser interference, irrespective of thernusers' multipath channels, in asynchronous mode.rnThe receivers for diu000berent users have the same struc-rnture, except for a diu000berent mixer front-end. Thernmaximum-likelihood receiver can be matched-flterrnbased, with only the desired user's channel state in-rnformation, and hence without the need for multiuserrndetection. Performance simulation shows signifcantrnimprovement as compared with existing time-hoppingrnspread spectrum UWB multiple access schemes.
