Workplace Improvement Using Ergonomics in Korea

摘要

This paper shows our effort in Korea to improve workplaces using Ergonomics. The Ergonomics Society of Korea has been sponsoring the Ergonomic Design award since 1997 in the area of product design. In 2000, we expanded this award into the area of workplace design. It was found that with little effort Ergonomics can be applied to workplace as it has been in western countries and resulted in good improvement and cost saving.
