This work presents a phase noise tolerance of (Universal filtered multi-carrier) UFMC communication systems for 5 G, where the carrier of 60 GHz with a bandwidth of 400 MHz is considered. A pilot-based using the Maximum-Likelihood correction is employed. The numerical simulation method is used. The simulation results showed that the UFMC gives lower bit error rate (BER) performance than orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM), where the various oscillator linewidth and M-ary QAM are investigated.
