Oxychem Y2K contingency planning

摘要

The Year 2000 problem has been widely publicized.The Y2K problem extends to all information technology,including,but not limited to,computer hardware/software,communications,and embedded microchip-based process plant equipment.Significant efforts are underway to identify and remedy problems with equipment that may malfunction.Recognizing that despite these efforts there may still be Y2K failures,attention needs to be focused on potential process equipment malfunctions and contingency planning for Year 2000 related incidents.
