Process improvements from incident data

摘要

This paper will discuss four different reactive chemical events that resulted from plant mal-operations.Each incident was relatively minor yet provided valuable information about the stability and/or vulnerability of the process to upset conditions.The reaction classes involved were: centre dot Polyester polymerization centre dot Secondary amine formation followed by decomposition centre dot Oxidation of poly-alkylated aromatic hydrocarbon centre dot Base catalyzed Oligomerization
