摘要

Sulfuric acid penetrates the concrete and the reaction products cause the disruption and final disintegration of concrete in wastewater treatment plants. Even though several repair work have been done, it is difficult to completely remove the corroded concrete which have external SO_4~(2-) ions. This study indicated that the epoxy coating in case of 2 times coat and 3 times coat can not protect concrete against 5 % sulfuric acid permeation. Although remainder SO_4~(2-) ions exists by XRFS (S) analysis, SEM and TG-DTA show no growth of that under the epoxy polymer cement.
