The Reduction Disintegration Index (RDI) of iron ore agglomerate is considered a extremely negative property. It was a significant influence on blast furnace coke ratio and productivity. In China, the great majority of Blast furnace burden is sinter. Especially high TiO_2 content ore and import ore increase with years, the RDI of sinter attracts ironmakers attention.
