摘要

The photoinduced cis-trans isomerization of azoben/.ene and its derivatives has been widely studied in various media, i.e. solution , functionalized glassy polymers, Langmuir-Blodgett and self-assembled (SA) films . The most significant developments in the field was the work of Gibbsons et al. about induction of orientation that can be obtained or can be changed with a polarized laser.rnIn this presentation, we have constructed multilayer assemblies of cationic bolaamphiphiles and an aniomc polyelectrolyte on fused silica precoated with 5 bilayers of PAH and PVS based on the layer-by-layer self-assembly technique. The SA technique has now extensively characterized and shown to allow the preparation of ultrathin organic films with excellent control over film thickness and molecular architecture.
