摘要

Investigations of structure and stability of Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films of 2-alkyl-7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinodimethane (alkyl-TCNQ; Figure 1) are important because TCNQ derivatives are often used as an electron acceptor to fabricate conductive ultrathin films by the LB technique. We have reported spectroscopic and atomic force microscopic studies on structure, thermal behavior, and aging effects from the filmrndeposition of the LB films of alkyl-TCNQ.
