Study on Compression Process of Variable Speed Scroll Compressor with Heat Transfer Effect

摘要

In the present study, the heat transfer mechanism inside scroll compressor was thoroughly investigated experimentally and numerically. The experimental measurements of the scroll wrap temperature were conducted at various rotational speeds of the compressor. The whole consecutive compression process inside the scroll compressor was simulated by solving equations of mass and energy balances for the refrigerant. From the comparison of the measurements and the numerical results, the heat transfer is discovered to play an important role to the performance of the scroll compressor.
