In 2011, for the first time Hybrid Multiphase Pumpsrnhave been deployed on the seafloor. This was OffshorernAngola, at 800m Water Depth, to ensure the full fieldrndevelopment of Pazflor Deep Sea Project by pumping thernviscous oils of the Miocene fields. Through the example ofrnthese Pazflor subsea pumps, this paper invites the reader torndiscover, step by step, the thorough acceptance testsrnprogram that was put in place to mitigate as much asrnpossible the risks before installation. This paper relatesrnhow, after 15 months of Acceptance tests, the eight HybridrnPumps were declared Ready for Deployment.
