AN INVESTIGATION OF CORRELATION BETWEEN SPECTRAL ABSORPTANCE AND DISCOLORATION DEGREE OF DYED FABRICS

For investigation of the effect of optical radiation especially participate the discoloration of dyed fabrics, discoloration degree of dyed fabrics under irradiation by several kinds of fluorescent lamps and correlation with spectral absorptance were investigated. As a matter of fact, actual discolorated color difference (ΔE) at the same quantity of absorbed radiation was not always equivalent. Spectral responsivity (action spectrum) may not coincide with spectral absorptance.
