In order to have an effective utilization of the radio wave resources, it is important to estimate propagation path in the urban area. In our previous work, we have examined the diffracted fields by two horizontal edges with an arbitrary angle which are in different and same heights, when a source is located lower than the height of the edges. In this paper, we compare the strength of the direct field, single and double diffracted fields, when the height of the source is varied. The numerical calculations are carried out for two wedges and a building-like double-wedge on perfect conductor. The results show that the higher the source is located, the stronger the diffracted fields become.
