摘要

The portion of space surrounding the earthrninterested by man made flying crafts hasrnbecome more and more polluted: on top ofrnnatural objects, man made debris circle thernearth at different heights. Advanced designrnmethodologies are now used for preliminaryrndesign. Within these frameworks variousrnanalysis can bring specific benefits. Evolvingrnfrom similar uses in the aeronautical field, wernhave used the Zonal Analysis techniques atrnconceptual level to evaluate the risks ofrndamages coming from impacts with debris, andrnso gather evidence for internal systemsrnreallocation. The two cases in study are bothrnconceptual design developed for researchrnpurposes at Politecnico di Torino: a transatmosphericrnvehicle and a micro satellite. Thernwork presents the environment, the threat andrnthe preliminary results of this research.
