Use of waste from waste-water treatment in production of fuels for thermal treatment processes

摘要

This paper presents the applicability of waste-water sludge as a component of granulated fuel for the energy industry. A method of fuel production from sewage sludge and other waste materials (e.g. poorest coal sorts, remains from animal utilization plants and waste product from wood industry) is presented.rnThis paper includes the physical and chemical properties of the fuels produced from sewage sludge with a particular emphasis on the parameters affecting the combustion process. The results of the conducted analysis of energy properties conform the applicability of them in the processes of co-combustion with coal.
