SOME THOUGHTS ABOUT CHANGE OF FIGHTERS AT AIR FORCE OF THE EAST-EUROPEAN COUNTRIES

The most of the Middle- and East-Europeanrncountries are in the transition. After change ofrntheir political situation, they had a bigrneconomical crisis. In this situation they have arngreat problem of modernisation of their AirrnForces. Principally they can modernise theirrnold fighters or they can change them.rnThe lecture describes the basic elementsrnof the aircraft modernisation. It summarisesrnthe possibility of modernisation of fighters,rntype MíG. It defines the future mission andrnrole of fighters.rnThe most interesting question is whichrntype of fighter is the best for given countries.rnThere is no exact answer for this question. Thernauthors have developed special method andrncharacteristics for taking into account the realrntasks of given Air Forces. Theserncharacteristics are based on the relationshiprnbetween the probability of solving the cost torntotal life cycle cost.
