摘要

This paper deals with a possible application of oscillating generators driven by free-piston engine in thernhybrid electric vehicle. Definitions of separate parts of the aggregate (of the generator and engine),rnhistorical an contemporary situation of the considered device, topologies of the free-piston engine andrnoscillating generator, preferable energy flows in the aggregate and its conceptual structure, some results ofrnmodelling and simulation, main advantages and problems of the considered devices are discussed. It isrnshown that application of the studied aggregate could considerably improve characteristics of the hybridrnelectric vehicle: to increase efficiency and to decrease weight and volume, decrease pollution.
