Temperature Compensation Using a Voltage Tuned Thermistor Network

A new method of temperature compensation is described which makes use of a segmented thermistor network. Rather than being adjusted by the selection of a matched set of precision resistors, the output voltage is tuned to match the oscillator temperature curve solely by setting the voltages applied to the various sections of the network. After these voltages are set, they remain ideally constant under all conditions.
