BO-06: COMBINED UTILIZATION OF BIOGAS AND NATURAL GAS

The Danish natural gas network has been established during the past 10 years. Running parallel with this arnsmall but growing production of biogas from centralized biogas plants and landfills has been developed.rnThe annual biogas production is expected to keep growing and increase tenfold in the next 25 year periodrnwith a reduction of green house gas emissions as one of the important incentives.rnThe last years? development and expansion of the Danish biogas sector has shown a need for combinedrnutilization of biogas and natural gas. If larger volumes of biogas are present, upgrading and distribution byrnthe natural gas network may be an alternative to combined utilization.
