EP-03: FIELD EXPERIENCE : COLLECTION OF DATA ON DOMESTIC GAS INSTALLATIONS AND GAS APPLIANCES IN THE NETHERLANDS

During the seventies, GASTEC and NV Nederlandse Gasunie investigated the condition of domestic gasrninstallations in the Netherlands. The investigation is repeated in 1995 / 1996 ordered by EnergieNed, thernAssociation of the Energy distribution companies in the Netherlands, and NV Nederlandse Gasunie.rnRandom research tests are carried out in the regions covered by most gas distribution companies,rnrepresenting over 90% of all consumers.rnThe purpose of this investigation is to obtain reliable information on the condition of domestic gasrninstallations. In addition, information will be collected on the diversity of the installations in use,rnmaintenance practice, compliance with installation regulations and safety of the installations as a function ofrntime.
