This paper addressed the use of hazard-scenario analysis in conducting operating and support hazard analysis (O&SHA), on electrical/electronic/avionics systems. Analyses were conducted on typical electrical/electronic/avionics systems associated with a particular system application, to develop a Generic Analysis Template. The Temp late is to be used as a guide or checklist to enable comparisons to be made between generic information presented in the Template and cross-checked against similar planned or implemented electrical/electronic/avionics systems. Background details and concepts were discussed concerning scenario-driven analysis, the development and use of the Generic Analysis Template was outlined, and the overall process steps were presented to accomplish the analysis.
