摘要

In order to expand the applicable sea area of Mega- Float, feasibility studies on new type Mega-Float, which can be installed at more deep and severe sea state have been conducted. This Mega-Float is equipped with wave energy absorbing device around the periphery of main box type structure, and it has also solar power plant and wind power plant on the wide upper space. In addition, the rainwater recycling system, waste disposal works and sewage works are installed on the structure. Therefore this self-sufficient-type Mega-Float is named here as "Eco-Float". The equipped wave energy-absorbing device can reduce the clastic response of main body, but it is not sufficient against to severe sea condition. Then the floating breakwater is arranged around wave incident side of Eco-Float. This floating breakwater is used not only to reduce the incident wave height but also to moor the Eco-Float. This paper presents the performances of this floating breakwater for Eco-Float mooring system examined by numerical simulation and tank test.
