This is the story of th challenges being made for providing basic telephone service to its teeming rural population by one of the poorest countries in the world. Time and again Bangladesh managed survival during the natural calamities. It developed and introduced the concept of Micro Credit without any collateral to combat poverty for the poorest of the poor. Now it ventures to provide access to telephone service to its rural population with Cellular Telephones!
