摘要

In this paper the optimal size, type and placement of microgrid is very important factor to reduce active and reactive power loss as well as solution of economic load dispatch in distribution network. Proper sizes and location of distributed energy resources (DERs) which are selected by calculation of reactive loading index and cost reduction using map reduce particle swarm optimization (MRPSO) algorithm. By placing DERs reactive and active power loss are reduced. Economic load dispatch is optimal power allocation satisfying load demand where cost is minimized. Here microgrid is combination of three diesel generators (Dg) and two micro turbines (Mt). Proposed odified particle swarm based algorithm (MRPSO) based on improved version of PSO. The proposed idea has been performed on radial distribution network 12.66 kV consisting 33 nodes. Obtained results of MRPSO are compared with LSI techniques and hence superioty of MRPSO techniques proves.
