Problems of mesh generation in numerical modeling of the combustion engine with variable compression ratio

The article presents the problem of model mapping with the use of the Reverse Engineering method and simulations of the phenomena with the use of the Ansys Fluent software package. The research problem was the model of an internal combustion engine with variable compression ratio, where on the basis of analyzes, the authors tried to estimate the opening time of a blow-off valve to prevent engine knocking.
