Now-a-days, LED technology is considered as Green technology as a replacement of conventional type of lighting owing to various advantages LED has over other light sources. In this paper, paralleling of converters has been proposed for LED flood lighting applications. Three buck converters are connected in parallel fashion. It powers continuously. For power control Master-slave configuration has been used. Fuzzy logic control (FLC) rules are incorporated for smooth powering of LED load. DC-DC Sepic converter has been used for power factor correction (PFC). The proposed system is fed from the available ac source (50Hz). For power factor correction Sepic converter is used in average current control. Buck converters equally share load current. The proposed system is system is simulated in MATLAB/Simulink. The performance of the proposed system is analyzed under faulty conditions. FLC has been compared with PID controller. FLC satisfactorily powers LED load. The proposed system can be extended for low voltage and high current applications.
