摘要

Barrier coverage has received much attention in the last decade. In the wireless visual sensor networks(WVSN), the deployed visual sensors, instead of traditional scalar sensor, can additionally support image of the intruder and hence provide better monitoring quality. Given a set of visual sensors, this paper aims to construct a full-view barrier coverage. When the intruder intends to cross from one side of the monitoring region to another side, the visual sensors can capture the full-view image of the intruder, no matter the face of intruder turning to any direction. The proposed mechanism can construct as many as possible full-view barriers which are disjoint with each other. Each constructed barrier consists of as few as possible the visual sensors such that the processing of the images can be as simple as possible and the transmission data volume can be minimized. Experimental study shows that our mechanism has better performance than the related works.
