The wireless power transfer(WPT) has been an emerging technology in power transmission, and most researches focus on Single Source Single Load(SSSL) system. The SSSL can satisfy the load power requirement, but the receiver side has low degree of freedom(DOF). Considering state of the art technologies in WPT, to realize both the requirements of power delivery and high DOF of receiver side in industrial and home applications, Multi Sources Multi Loads(MSML) system is considerable. This paper proposes a new concept of Wireless Power Grid(WPG), which can realize high DOF while satisfying the load power requirement. The mathematical model of WPG has been established. The main issue of WPG is the trade-off between the requirement of transferred power and the minimum of energy losses. A case of WPG with three orthogonal transmitter coils and one receiver coil is analyzed, the optimal currents of transmitter coils are derived through Lagrange Multiplier method.
