摘要

Power losses are one of the most relevant factor of the quality of power grids. They can be reduced by many conventional ways. Nowadays, high-temperature superconductors (HTS) are considered as an idea of power transportation without resistance losses. The designing and optimizing of superconducting cables composed of the tapes demands laboratory measurements of the latter to create input data for finite element methods (FEM) calculations. This paper describes an example of numerical simulations of three selected superconducting complex cables, composed of the laboratory measured HTS tapes.
