摘要

This paper focus on the Direct Torque Control (DTC)of a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM)drive for Electric Vehicle (EV)application. In order to achieve optimized drive efficiency, Maximum Torque Per Ampere (MTPA)control is implemented. Moreover, to increase the mechanical robustness of the drive and to make it cost effective sensorless speed estimation is carried out. The technique used for sensorless speed estimation is Model Reference Adaptive Control (MRAC). The proposed algorithm is implemented in MATLAB/Simulink and the simulation results shows the validity of proposed estimator.
