In this article, we extend the Yager's quantifier guided aggregation ordered weighted averaging (OWA) operator to the interval type 2 fuzzy sets (IT2FS) weights and rates for the multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) problems. The workflow of the proposed approach is constructed including the following 6 stages: 1. to collect alternatives rates and criteria weights, 2. to rank the IT2FS rates for each criterion according to average parametric graded mean integration representation (PGMIR), 3. to map the linguistic proportion of criteria into a fuzzy quantifier, 4. to generate the quantifier guided OWA operator IT2FS weights, 5. to aggregate the IT2FS rates and weights, 6. to rank the final overall IT2FS rates according to average PGMIR. A supplier selection decision making problem is illustrated for the presented approach.
