摘要

As sensor nodes are battery powered hence developing energy efficient routing protocols is a major challenge in wireless sensor network. In heterogeneous wireless sensor network, few sensor nodes are equipped with higher processing and communicating capabilities. In this paper, reactive energy efficient heterogeneous cluster based routing protocol has been proposed. At the end, the performance of the proposed protocol is compared with existing heterogeneity based routing protocols. The performance of the proposed protocol is better than existing protocols in terms of network lifetime and energy efficiency.
