Transceivers in satellites need Pulsed Power to generate RF signals. The Quality of the RF signals is mainly depends on High frequency voltage with minimum rise time, fall time and output ripple. Pulsed power leads to discharge of High current in very short interval of time. This creates a challenge of designing High current handling capable Power supply with tight load regulation and quick transient response. This Paper presents DC-DC 10 Output Fly-back converter which generates eight, 3.7kHz Pulsed voltages of 65% and 10% duty cycle, 1 Positive and 1 Negative continuous voltage with more than 60% Efficiency. The Planar transformer is used to reduce the Leakage inductance and Complexity of assembly. Current mode control method with proper phase compensation is used for Quick Transient Response. Closed loop Output regulators improve the load regulation and control the rise time and fall time of Pulsed Outputs. Planar Transformer along with RCD clamp circuit reduces the Drain and Source Voltage stress in MOSFET and increases the lifetime of it. The Over current protection circuit and EMI filter circuit increase reliability of the converter. The Radiation Hardened semiconductor devices, Hybrid Micro circuits and Shielded Mechanical structure of the converter make it to fit for Hazardous Space environment. The Design and Experimental results of Converter are shown in this paper.
