Integrated Vehicle Health Management Technology and Its Applications in Commerical Aviation

摘要

This paper first gives a brief review of Integrated Vehicle Health Management (IVHM) concept, functions and architecture, then summarizes recent international research and development activities in this area especially in commercial aviation industry. A clear trend is that IVHM has become a focus in aerospace industry. All commercial aircraft manufacturers have spent significant amount of resources on IVHM technology R&D and use IVHM technology to improve their products. International standard organizations are also interested in this area by trying to form some industry standards. But as a new emerging filed there are still some issues could be solved or further explored. These experiences and lesson learned could be useful as China begins entering international commercial aviation market.
