Space-time multiple antenna architectures such as space-time block codes (STBC), space-time shift keying (STSK), are well known coding techniques that are employed for enhancing the capacity of a wireless communication system without affecting the bandwidth efficiency. The work presented in this paper provides a bit error rate analysis of these space-time architectures with orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system transmitting over dispersive channels. Both the uncoded and the channel coded systems were analysed. The simulation results in this paper show that the system may be applied for dispersive channel scenario and provide improved performance even in hostile frequency selective paths.
