摘要

In this paper Adaptive Wiener filter is used for enhancement of the speech signal which is corrupted by additive noise. Adaptive Wiener filter uses NLMS algorithm for cancelling noise from speech signal. For evaluation purpose different noises like noise from jet, musical noise (drums), construction noise are added to recorded speech signal and filtering of speech signal is carried out. Implementation of Adaptive Wiener filter is done in time domain rather than in frequency domain, for accommodation of varying nature of speech signal.
