摘要

In this study, financial and environmental assessment is done for a solar PV system for a village of Jhalawar, Rajasthan, India. In this paper, PV system's capital cost, payback period, discount rate and internal rate of return of the system are calculated. According to the electrical energy demand of village, the photovoltaic system of 587.7 kW is calculated. In this study, performance, financial, and emission analysis of 600 kW grid connected system photovoltaic system is done by using RETScreen Expert. The annual energy production from 600 kW SPV plant is evaluated by using PVGIS and PVWatts online tool. The results of this study encourage the use of PV systems in terms of cost and to electrify the village by clean energy source.
