摘要

This paper presents novel of power system stabilizer in which intend to investigate and observe the oscillation due to disturbances then define power angle difference on South Sulawesi grid. The symmetrical three phase fault and single phase fault to ground have been implemented and results show that the 150 kV of South Sulawesi grid tend to reach the limit of transient stability and then subject to be out of synchronization. This problems needs to be undertaken by using Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) to ensure transient stability of the system. The FACTS may works well for reducing oscillation to enhance transient stability phenomena of 150 kV South Sulawesi grid.
