摘要

There are various security mechanisms that can be employed to protect confidential and sensitive information. Physical security is a type of computer security that secures the perimeter of an area. Anyone who has physical access to the computer controls it. The organization must physically secure its resources because it is easy to manipulate the computer through physical means. In this paper, a new mechanism is introduced to map out the pair of values in table of 4×4 scrambled keys. The initial seed comes from the parameters, strings of characters and numbers. This will minimize the number of key strokes because OTP codes sent via email will be keyed in using the XY coordinates. This prototype can be a solution to the shortcomings of some common physical security like insider attack, brute force while assuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information.
