摘要

Gradual increase in use of solar power has drawn increased attention towards MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) converters. However, there have been considerably lesser works that are concerned with the Lead-Acid storage. This paper presents an inductorless converter which facilitates fast charging and battery life extension with the help of Pulse and Reflexcharging in addition to MPP operation. Two different control circuits have been developed using analog and microcontroller ICs, keeping in mind ease of fabrication, cost effectiveness and easier maintenance. Simulation and hardware results have been discussed.
