摘要

Image enhancement is one of the most important tasks in digital image processing. It is one of the most complex and important tasks in digital image processing. Image enhancement techniques are used in improving the visual quality of images. Medical Imaging is now recently used in most of the applications like Radiography, MRI, Nuclear medicine, Ultrasound Imaging, Tomography, Cardiograph, and Fundus Imagery and so on. Contrast and Image quality are the major problems in medical imagery. Image Enhancement makes the image clear for human perception or machine analysis. The process of Image enhancement doesn't raise the inbuilt information content of the data, but can highlight the features of interest to detect the objects in a simple and efficient manner.
