Coupling channel estimation based self-interference cancellation in massive MIMO full-duplex system

This paper focuses the problems of self-interference cancellation (SIC) in massive MIMO full-duplex system. And a coupling channel estimation based SIC (BF-SIC) scheme is proposed to eliminate SI effectively without the instantaneous information of self-interference (SI) channel, which is very difficult to obtain in massive MIMO full-duplex system. In addition, in order to evaluate the BF-SIC scheme, the SI cancellation capability and the uplink achievable rate are derived and analyzed when the channel estimation error and channel training overhead are considered. Furthermore, the simulation result shows that when the number of antennas and signal-to-noise (SNR) is very large, SI can be eliminated almost completely with BF-SIC scheme, and the uplink rate would increase significantly.
