Estimation of continental renewable energy export potential to support global energy interconnection initiative

摘要

This paper performs global renewable power export potential analysis to support global energy interconnection initiative. Based on analyzing impact factors including economic factors, political factors, and technical factors, renewable energy export potential is represented as a function of renewable energy production and local energy consumption. For a given future year, renewable energy production and local energy consumption are predicted using historical data. Renewable energy export potential is studied based on global point view. For each continent, renewable energy export potential is calculated. Renewable power flow directions are displayed on world map.
