摘要

With the rapid development of wind power technology, the scale of the wind farm is getting bigger and bigger, and the wind power grid connected technology has entered a new stage. However, wind power has the characteristics of intermittent and uncontrollable, the use of AC transmission requires a large number of reactive power compensation devices, the use of traditional DC transmission needs to put a lot of filtering devices and is easy to fail to change the phase. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the method of grid connected of wind farm. The MMC-HVDC technology based on the modular multilevel converter has large capacity, be independent to control active and reactive power, be stability of the AC bus voltage and easy to form multiterminal DC system, etc. It is very suitable for grid connected of large wind farm and is widely used in wind power integration.
