Waste and Energy are one among the many backstabbers which are limiting the growth of economy across the globe. The presented work describes an advanced cost-effective methodology to increase the output power of solar panels by escalating the intensity of light incident on them, with the help of new trend of the solar reflector. The trendiness of the reflectors has been brought up by fabricating them using a thin layer (around 0.016mm to 0.024mm) of Aluminum coating present inside the non-recycled plastic food packages. The depicted work not only describes a new generation of solar reflectors when compared to the present solar reflectors but also sheds light on the generosity of landfills and groundwater pollution; created due to the dumping of empty food packages. The experiment is carried out at different angles and distances of the positioning of the reflector with respect to standalone solar panels. The corresponding readings are observed with slightly varying climate changes over the season. The key points discussed in the paper include non-recycled waste, solar reflector technology, efficiency improvement and reliable cost-effective system with societal responsibility.
