摘要

This paper analyzes pattern tolerance against errors of excitation amplitude and element position in uniform linear arrays. The upper and lower bounds of the array pattern are derived based on the interval arithmetic. Compared to existing bounds, the proposed bounds consider both amplitude and position errors, and they are useful to understand the pattern tolerance when both amplitude and position errors exist in real arrays. Computer simulations are conducted to validate the effectiveness of the derived bounds.
